Turn the instrument on by pressing the power button

The opening screen in Windows.
Note that as the computers powerup, the Novell and Win user and password prompt the user. Simply click on cancel .

Navigate to the appropriate Cary WinUV experiment

The opeining menu for the 'Scan" Experiment.
Click on setup to setup the experiment parameters.

Under the scan menu, select the scan range.
Scan range is usually from 900 to 300nm.

Next select the baseline menu under setup
