| The allied health chemistry course (chemistry 100 & 100L) has been offered at San Diego Miramar College for the past 5 years using the WebCT platform. This presentation will cover the conception and evolution of this course. Assessment for the lecture includes quizzes, homework, special project, discussion-board participation, midterm and a final. The assessment for the lab includes problem set exercises, experiments conduct at home, lab notebook, midterm and a final. Studies will also be presented on how the online course compares to the traditional on-campus course. |
