Pima Community College, following the trend at many schools, is moving to a greater number and variety of online courses to reach students over a greater geographic area. As of 2006, the college is developing courses in the physical sciences, in addition to an already wide range of courses including math, humanities, social sciences, business, biological science, art, computers, education, etc. Traditionally, physical science requires a hands-on laboratory. This paper will look at this author's considerations and development of an at-home laboratory project. |
